Long time no hear ;)

Recently I am obssesed with ballet. Not only because of the Black Swan but also I remembered my kiddy fantasies (I wanted to be a ballerina..! ..and a writer... and a film maker... and Sarah from Labyrinth... and plenty more, so shh ;)) ) so, as consequence, I am preparing lot of ballet outfits. Innocelia and Mischa are january group gifts :).

Days are busy, so I am creating much less than during free days, but, here I am showing you Sheendy - which was costing 25L$ last Wednesday, Tsunami - which is a gift for Touch of Sensuality Hunt and Venus Chasseresse which I have done especially for February edition of CHIC Limited :). Heart on necklace is animated ;).

Now heading to my beloved Photoshop to prepare outfit for Suddenly Yours Hunt :)
See you sooooooon :)

(Forever yours, best regards, XOXO hihi,
Diav)

Fast doodling during listening to music (Love Game) and here we are, some glamour disco creation ;). I like it much. In the first version there was a skirt similar to the chest decor but it was way too much for just one outfit so I decided to keep only one strong accent.

And the texture is done by me, cause I couldn't find a seamless "disco ball" texture in Internet ;).

Enjoy :)

To Bee or not to Bee (or bzz:P)

On the left - may I present you Risika The Bee! That's how she looked today during taking photos of Maja dress hihi :D. Real bee! Glasses - really nice element as final touch :D. On the right - Maja dress. Sparkling gold with Maja The Bee application on it - it was done especially for Theme Market which this month's theme is "Childhood Memories". Here it is: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Twilight%20Waters/105/175/813, enjoy.

I really liked Maja when I was a kid :D

Black Swan again

Friday, January 21, 2011

I haven't seen the movie yet (Black Swan) but already several of my designs were inspired by it. Or rather by ballet - but in dark version ;). Today - not much time again, so I haven't even logged in to SL. At the evening though I have found 20 minutes of free time which I have used wisely ;). I prepared part of the new outfit (which is going to be called Swan Dance). And I am proud of this little part (leg) cause already for a week I was trying to draw it, and each time it just didn't want to turn out good. Finally!
Yeah :D

Puff

Exhausted. My eyes are closing. I am sleep deprived, 3-4 hours per day (night) are not enough. :)
But as usual, despite the somnolence - I am joyful and happy! :)
Simple doodle from morning and finished dress next to. Dress looks better in-world, than on the picture.

Now, heading to bed! (just after walk with my dog, of course)
Nighty night!

Super busy day :-)

Thursday, January 20, 2011

Today was super busy! First tea I had time to drink only around noon... Afternoon, long, evening - thousands of things happening same time. Super busy. But finally, just before heading to bed, I found some time to prepare two mini dresses (from Mangaline) - Vivid Red and Blue Shade - for Freebiesowo. Third one, Mangaline Clubby - took me more time, but effect is worth it, in my humble opinion. :) So here they are, enjoy :-)

Some news :)

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

CHIC Limited has accepted *diavolicious* for february cycle (theme: anti-valentine) and as fast as I got know this news, I drew a project of the outfit. It is going to be slightly victorian, a bit steampunk and despite the name "Mon Coeur" - it will be anti-valentine... Based a bit of one of my clothes which I have done when *diavolicious* was still on Playville and finally never managed to put it to sell. I hope that my Little Helper will help me with animating a heart in this costume ;). And for transparency - I don't know yet, alpha mask would be the best - but not everybody can use it since it is not implemented in every SL viewer... So maybe I will add an invisible prim as well. So excited about this project!

Oh, and second pic, just summing up part of my yesterday's work - few dresses. One of them - basic one, will cost only 10L$, I managed to create posters only for 5 of them, 5 other colours are still waiting for me ;)

Work in progress 2

Work still in progress - I changed sleeves in the meantime. About lace... I guess it has to be like now, so more or less matching, cause I am tired of this pattern, sitting over it already for 2 hours :P. And only now I realized how big "fun" it will be to match prim pattern to this dress... oh yeah, baby! :P Pf.

:D

Work in progress

Today I am working over few dresses - three of them are ready (at least Photoshop part is done, not yet uploaded to SL) and two of them are still in progress. I am trying to match lace from top part of the dress to the bottom and it is not as easy as I thought it will be ;).

Glamour...

Thursday, January 13, 2011
I am not so much into glamour, though - I like abstract more.
But ok, let's do some glamour for new location!

Is this glamour? Creation called Althaea:

Yesterday's creation.
Today, sadly, I haven't done anything, cause I was feeling quite low all day long and thanks to this - had no motivation to work over outfits. Sorry! I will do more tomorrow; at saturday new hunt is starting: "The Next Big Thing" - it is about fashion, of course:

What do you think will be the next big thing in 2011? This hunt is for you to create something that you think will be the next trend in 2011. Maybe an old trend will reappear with a modern twist or something totally new! Make your prizes fun and exciting!

I am going to create dress called Geometriss!
See ya tomorrow folks!

Guess what!

Wednesday, January 12, 2011
Yesterday at night, together with Risika and Ekilem we set up new location for *diavolicious*. No, no, I won't move the shop... Plans are different!

*diavolicious* is going to have a baby, hihi... and its name is going to be *diavolicious* Glamour.

Here is fast constructed logo:

Could be better, but it was almost 2am, I was very sleepy and logo needed to be put quite fast :).

And second piece of the news: Risika will be selling her poses there! And believe me, she does beautiful poses. I just love White Queen's ones :).

From other stuff - I am terribly late with Theme Market!! I will try to get there today but it might be too late already..

Doodling around

Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Hi! My name is Diav Draconia and I am *diavolicious* designer (creator).

If you search for official *diavolicious* site - go to http://www.diavolicious.com, because here you will find only my private thoughts and probably lots of doodling ;)

I doodle a lot. Everywhere and almost in every situation if I only have a notebook and a pen around. Lessons, courses, even at work - all my notebooks are covered with doodles.

A piece of definition from wikipedia:

A doodle is a type of sketch, an unfocused drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes.

Stereotypical examples of doodling are found in school notebooks, often in the margins, drawn by students daydreaming or losing interest during class. Other common examples of doodling are produced during long telephone conversations if a pen and paper are available.

Popular kinds of doodles include cartoon versions of teachers or companions in a school, famous TV or comic characters, invented fictional beings, landscapes, geometric shapes and patterns, textures, banners with legends, and animations made by drawing a scene sequence in various pages of a book or notebook.

I doodle my outfits too. Sometimes they are just a product of listening a lecture about hikikomori (like my first City Runner outfit), other time I have an idea flashing in my mind and I have to quickly sit down and let my pen run on the paper, to see what comes from this idea.

Sometimes it is overthought but in such cases - it never goes good and finally I don't create it in SL.

I noticed that if I can doodle/draw something - then for sure I can do it in SL.

Some examples? Here are they:

Et voila, my first "private" post here :-)
